Italy : Cervinia - Great skiing at its best
 
 
Cervinia / Valtournenche / Zermatt as a ski area is hard to beat! Cervinia is one of Europe's best and is among the highest resorts in the Italian Alps. It is dominated by the mighty Matterhorn and surrounded by some of Europe's grandest peaks. Cervinia's ever increasing popularity is due to its excellent snow conditions, huge ski area (350kms of groomed piste), long hours of sunshine, variety of runs and a compact resort centre offering plenty of après ski activity. With an area pass the skiing opens up to include Zermatt in Switzerland with some fantastic skiing. The slopes for beginners are also plentiful, with large numbers of blue and red runs. Being a glacier resort, snow is guaranteed - a rare quality in these times of global warming.  In the height of summer, the norm is to have at least 30 kms of ski runs open. The centre of Cervinia is closed to vehicles and is a walking / pedestrian area, unspoiled by traffic.
 
 

Shops - 25 clothing and equipment shops, curios, 2 mini-markets for food and essentials. The 2 banks and ATM machines make life easy.

Night life - try the No-name pub, the Welsh Bar, the Ymmeltrob cocktail bar with its live music, the Copapan Pub, the Yeti,  and the band at the Scottish bar, and many more. For the youngsters there is the White Rabbit disco and Le Club.

Adventure sports - the Heli Skiing in Cervinia is just awesome, and there is climbing (the mighty Matterhorn !) paragliding, snow and summer 18 hole golf, a snow park on the Bontadini run, curling, indoor pools and X country skiing. There is an ice museum worth seeing.

Restaurants abound, with all sorts of diners in town, as well as many mountain restaurants for skiers to enjoy.

If you are bored with skiing we will arrange excursions for you to places like Milan, Zermatt, Valtournenche, Turin, Aosta & Lake Como !
  
   

The best is to fly in to Milan Malpensa airport. Meet us at the Hi-Fly cafe in terminal 1 next to exit 5 for the shuttle transfer to the resort. It should take about 2.25 hours.

We offer scheduled shuttle transfers and private transfers, depending on your wishes, and your arrival and departure times.

In the village we use central accommodation, so ski buses, taxis and the like are just not needed !

What makes Cervinia so terrific for families is the walkability of the village. You can always find your kids - whether they be having a pizza, enjoying a pancake and ice cream or ice skating ! The outdoor ice rink right next to the hotels with its music and buzz keeps the kids entertained.

Kids zone with playpark, snow discing, tobogganing and bump boarding is a real hit with the youngsters, even if the parents have to drag them away at bed-time.

This is aimed at those wanting to sit back and relax whilst we organize things like transfers, ski guiding to places like Zermatt and Valtournenche, Apres ski evenings, fun events and more. For the December period we run our "Polar Kidz Club" program. We take care of the kids while you relax.

"Champagne Lite Packages" caters for the more independent traveller. We will arrange just the essentials like accommodation, transfers, skis and pass (and get you a discount into the bargain !)
