Switzerland : St. Moritz

|
Fashionable St Moritz lies in the Engadine valley, under the 4000m Piz Bernina. The setting is beautiful, with the town sitting at the western end of the lake, and the mountains rising steeply to either side. St Moritz is split into two areas: Dorf, built on the side of the hillside and filled with smart hotels and shops and Bad, spreading up the valley from the lake and slightly quieter in character. When not skiing in St Moritz, there is still plenty to do. The world famous Cresta bob sleigh run; polo, snow golf, cricket and horse racing on the lake and a health spa in St Moritz Bad. Eating out can be expensive, but there are many restaurants to choose from and the night life is varied and vibrant. Children under 3 are not particularly well looked after in St Moritz, but for anyone older than that there are nurseries in 3 hotels. The skiing is extensive but fairly moderate in terms of challenge. |

The best is to fly in to Zurich airport. Meet us at the place designated in your resort arrival booklet for the transfer to the resort. It should take about 4 hours.
We offer scheduled shuttle transfers and private transfers, depending on your wishes, and your arrival and departure times.
In the village we use central accommodation, so ski buses, taxis and the like are just not needed !

The resort is child friendly, with child classes at Ski School, a kids snow area and menu's all over town designed for kids.
The village is also walkable and its impossible to get lost. Cars are not a danger at all.
There are lots of winter sports for kids like snow discing, games and activities.
